Our History: A New Company with More Than 50 Years Experience

Syrgis Performance Initiators was formed when the Syrgis group acquired the Organic Peroxides division of Norac, Inc. in 2007.  Norac was founded in 1953 as a producer of organic peroxide initiators for the fiberglass industry.  It began partial ownership of a European provider, Andos Chemical AB of Sweden, in 1977 and then fully acquired Andos in 1992 to form Norac Andos AB.  Together, the two organizations serve a broad international customer base.  Today, as a Syrgis company, Syrgis Performance Initiators is poised for strong focus and continued growth.
